Alexis auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. It's not known how the judges voted, but at least two of them voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Alexis was shown in a group with Tamyra Gray & Trinity Manning. She & Tamyra advanced. Alexis was shown during the final part of Hollywood Round singing "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera. It was revealed that she did enough to make the Top 30.
Top 30[]
Alexis sang "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. Although she was initially eliminated, she was selected to compete in the Wild-Card round.
Wild-Card[]
In the Wild-Card round, Alexis sang "Saving All My Love for You" by Whitney Houston. The judges decided not to pick her as the Wild-Card contestant, eliminating her from the competition.
